Position Summary

Accessible Solutions is looking for a trainer to work in collaboration with our development and support teams across the different business areas. You will help define and deliver learning and training solutions for our customers which will enhance usability and adoption of our products.

Responsibilities

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develops, organizes and delivers effective technical training programs and materials. 
  • Work with customer and functional organizations to establish course content and objectives. 
  • Prepares lesson plans from development documentation, field service requirements, or software documentation. 
  • Ensures course material reflects current product features.
  • Instructs participants both deskside and on-site sessions. 
  • Follow up to determine applicability of course material. 
  • Develop knowledge as the company subject matter expert on ServTracker software
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver course content and training solutions
  • Work independently with users to address training needs
  • Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team.
  • Serves as a liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
  • Ensure current and accurate training documentation and coordinate system training, educational tools and materials
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues.
  • Provide technical assistance as needed to our customers

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • 2 years of experience in an organization focused on delivering community services is required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in training and development
  • Experience in training users in new software, including development of training documentation

 

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Sound knowledge of the system development lifecycle
  • Show a strong ability to solve problems creatively through innovation
  • Have demonstrated interpersonal skills: ability to establish confidence, rapport, and cooperative relationships with clients and coworkers.
  • Excellent teaching and facilitation skills
